“The project involved the design and installation of a photovoltaic system with a total capacity of 300 kWp, executed under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract tailored for industrial prosumers. The project presented unique challenges, as we had to work within strict timeframes set by the client to avoid disturbing hotel guests and employees in the office building,” explained Horațiu Regneală, CEO of Renovatio Solar.
“We aimed to elevate our sustainability efforts, and with the expertise of Renovatio Solar, we have deployed photovoltaic panels that will partially meet the energy needs of the Crowne Plaza hotel and our company headquarters. This initiative represents an investment of approximately 300,000 euros,” stated Simona Constantinescu, Chief Operating Officer of ANA Hotels.
This project is part of the broader “Go Green” initiative, including installing electric vehicle charging stations in ANA Hotels’ parking areas.
“We provided ANA Hotels with a meticulously planned design that maximized space utilization and optimized the placement of panels to ensure the highest possible energy yield per square meter of installed area. As a result, the return on investment is expected to be realized sooner than typical for similar projects,” added Horațiu Regneală.
All photovoltaic system components are certified for quality and compliance with both EU and international standards, and the entire project has undergone rigorous post-installation technical inspections. Additionally, the partnership has been extended to include ongoing operation and maintenance services for the system.
